Poor diet and emotional armoring are the two most common causes of digestive troubles. Stress and emotions held in the organs cause the small intestine and colon to become tense, twisted or kinked, creating blockage that inhibits digestion and elimination. Surrounding fascia can tighten into adhesions that pull organs out of optimal position, and impede blood flow and enzyme secretions. Fire Cupping Therapy

Fire cupping is a simple procedure, by which the practitioner safely lights a cotton ball on fire and quickly inserts this flame into a certified glass cup to reduce oxygen and create a vacuum effect. The practitioner then quickly removes the flame and gently attaches the cup to the desired area for treatment, often on the large and tense muscles on the back and shoulders. The cups can then be left static for 5-15 minutes or slowly moved along tight muscles using oil and technique called “slide cupping”.

It's recommended to abstain from eating heavy meals before your cupping session. You can have a snack or a light meal like salad to satisfy your cravings. However, it's best to fast for three to four hours before your session, and if you have diabetes, you can cut the time to 2 hours.
Drink a lot of filtered hot water the day before, of and after. It maybe ideal to shave two days prior.
It is not suggested to fire cup if you’re on your menstrual cycle or blood thinning medication.

You may feel more tired than normal or experience flu-like symptoms after cupping (headache or general body aches). This is a temporary reaction by your immune system to the cellular waste that cupping helps release. It is impartant to rest, drink a lot of filtered hot water.
Please follow these cupping aftercare instructions: Keep the treated area covered, dry, and warm. Avoid wind, cold, and dampness. Avoid drinking alcohol as it hasa dehydration effect on your body, also avoid saunas, steam rooms, and baths for the next two days.
